Honestly, one of my favorite sushi restaurants on the west side of Los Angeles. Very quaint, cute, shoes off at the door as it is old style traditional Japanese seating on the floor. The sushi is the freshest the service is kind and you’ll definitely leave wanting more.

Amazing sushi spot with a fantastic vibe! The quality of the sushi is top-notch, with fresh, flavorful raw fish that melts in your mouth. A unique touch: you take off your shoes at the entrance and sit halfway into the floor for a traditional and cozy dining experience. Highly recommend for sushi lovers!

This was a nice place to eat while waiting to head over to LAX. Food tasted fresh and it felt very welcoming. We tried many different things and enjoyed all the food and sake. I had uni for the first time and they had two different options we went with the Santa Monica option I believe. Over great spot for a good meal.

This place truly captures the essence of authentic Japanese sushi. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels calm and traditional, making the experience even more special. The fish was incredibly fresh, each piece carefully prepared with attention to detail. A must-visit if you’re looking for real Japanese sushi, not just a meal but an experience.

Excellent and pretty and made in perfection; taste is awesome; service is good only item in mind is that food does not come in same time for all the people on the table; great atmosphere

Loved the experience! We had no idea you take your shoes off to sit on the floor when we made reservations, but completely loved every moment. The food was to die for as well.

I tried so many different sushi restaurants and this place might become one of my favorites. I honestly didn't expect much since it was a sushi restaurant inside a mall, but I was pleasantly surprised. The fish was delicious! I've been to sushi restaurants where the food is way more expensive and didn't even come close to the freshness or the flavors of this place. The ocean trout special and live sweet shrimp were my favorite. I wasn't very impressed by the roll that I got but maybe I'll try out something else next time. The toro toast was interesting and delicious too. I think they have a lunch special during the weekdays too. My server was also so polite and friendly. Incredible customer service. Would highly recommend if you live around the area!

A real gem!! Sushi really high quality and I'm a bit of a sushi snob. I love sitting at the bar. And chef sasaki is the man! Some of the best toro in town!! Also super fun to sit at tables on floor with your legs underneath the table (sunken floor). Shoes off here. Lunch has some decent deals as well. One of my favs. Highly recommend. Does get packed!
